Smudge Wings

All feathers and wings are from dead birds that I found at the roadside.
Sometimes I buy  complete wings in the USA, which I decorate myself. These are mostly Pheasants and Guinea Foils.

After performing a ritual with the bird, asking the question what I am aloud to pass on of its beauty, I remove carefully what I may reuse, sometimes feathers, a wing, or somtimes nothing. After that I give the bird a last restingplace in the earth. I decorate the feathers/wings with beads, shells, leather, bells etc.
